The Guest Cottage at 553 is a turn of the century two bedroom home built in 1908. It is available on a rental basis nightly with a two night minimum with Friday and Saturday nights being rented together always at a minimum.

It is conveniently located on the Restaurant 553 property on Main Street, in the heart of historic downtown Sylva. The Guest Cottage is convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Great Smoky Mountain Railway, Western Carolina University and the Cherokee Casino. The towns of Asheville, Dillsboro, Waynesville and Franklin are a short distance.

Quality accommodations within the city limits are tough to find. Motels, hotels, cottage and lodging facilities are at a premium and in most cases they are highly priced, unavailable, unclean or inconveniently located.
