Chef Ross Lorenz, from Western North Carolina, has returned with his wife, Bonnie, to Main Street Sylva to start Restaurant Five Fifty Three.
Ross is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Chrleston, SC and has worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 13 years. Ross has worked his way up to Chef, General Manager and Sommelier in many highly respected restaurants. Together, Ross and Bonnie have created an always changing menu according to the property greenhouse and garden beds, local organic farmers, and global availability of fresh food.
